The Raiders dominated Cleveland today the final was 7-4 but the final with our first string defense in was 5-1.

In that region if you suit up and field a team you have an excellent chance.

 

Not bashing cc because you have to play in the region you are in but there are teams that won't get in the play offs that would finish 2nd or 3rd in that region.

 

Next time they do re alignment the tssaa needs to look as always at geographical considerations but if possible look at evening out some of the regions where possible.

 

I think cc has a good coach that gets all in he can out of his teams but their problem as always is lack of over all team speed and no passing game

well we did have a quarterback that threw for well over 1,000 yards last season but you are right we have no passing game.

the biggest thing that hurts coffee county is no depth, and team speed yes.

but to answer wingmans questions we are faster this year... barring any injuries

It should be very competitive for the last two playoff spots. FC, Cumberland Co, WC and Coffee Co are better than last yr. Good luck in 07.

We scrimmaged Coffee's middle school last summer and they pounded us (and we went 9-0 and won the SVC Championship). They have a good looking bunch of kids moving up including a couple of hefty linemen.

Last years middle school team was very good I am interested to see how they do as freshman

 

Wingman, what have you heard from franklin county i went to their spring practice one day and it look like they only had about 25-30 kids out.

don't know much...i am sure they have more than 30 players. The Martin kid will be a soph....also heard they are very please with who emerged as qb...and their schedule is much easier

The Martin kid was a load even back in little league. If that same bunch of kids that played with him then are still together they will be tough. They steam rolled us twice one year, once regular season and again in the championship game.

I'm tired of softball, let's see some football. I hear about practices and the play running, but I can't wait to see some real action this year.
