if wh plays like they did in first half against east roberston they should win by 10 or more but if they play like they did in second half it could be close game but white house still wins

also they play mt juliet on tuesday that should tell little more about the game with smyrna

Yeah they'll have their football players back to, but we should win by 10+ then we'll be 7-1 and when we beat smith co. again we'll be 8-1 goin into beech, i wish trobaugh and wood could have played vs. mt. juliet then we could have been 9-0 goin into beech.

tonights freshmen game

White House freshmen 74, Portland freshmen 72 OT

 

Everyone had to sit on the wrong side because the Portland crowd was sitting on the home side. The game was close for the whole game. The officials did a very poor job and the game was close to getting out of control. After a call went against Portland, their coach knocked his chair into the bleachers behind the bench but was not given a a technical foul. He also threatened to throw another one after someone in the White House crowd said some thing about the officials doing nothing about it. A Portland player who fouled out in the 4th quarter slammed a water bottle on the ground and also the officials did nothing. White House built and maintained a small lead throughout the 4th quarter. Portland closed the lead to 2 and drew a foul as time expired, and made both free throws to force overtime. Portland led for most of overtime, White House took the lead 72-70 with under a minute left, Portland tied the game with under 15 seconds left. White House broke Portland's press and drew a foul and made both free throws with 3.5 seconds left. Portland was able to get a shot off but it was no good.

what happened in this game other than the refs. portland has been terrible ever since cory left. this is a very big surprise to me, who was the leading scorer for portland.
