Does anyone know what her high school record and elementary record is. I heard hoop 20 talking about giving her the game ball after 200 loses, but how close is she.

Around 180 to 190 losses with 80-85 wins. now 3-20, I think its her fourth 20 loss season overall against one winning season. Quite a resume`. What excuse will she pick this year, injuries-nope, used it too many times, youth? rebuilding? not enough fundamentals? Do I do enough as a coach? Oh wait! She never thinks like that, it's never her fault. It's everybody elses, right brother A.

So to get 200 loses, she will have to be back next year. Hoop, if she indeeds does go back and coach at the elementary level, will her games against Irving College be bitter rivals and worth going to see?

Surprisingly, the record for both the boys and girls team since the 2001-2002 season are very similar. The girls have a 63-104 record, and the boys have a 65-104 record.

The biggest difference between the girls and boys is that Coach Smith is in the 2nd year of rebuilding his program and she is in the 10th plus year of making the same excuses. And yes the boys are getting better.

I am sorry about the situation at your school, it seems to be the same problem at our school. We have an administration that is content just to have a team, not a competitive team that the community can be proud of!!!

if you think it is appropriate, it owuld be good to tell us where you are from. IMO, this thread about the frustrations and the reasons why communities are not able to achieve their goals with their athletic teams when for the most part the School is the center of the community life, is just not a Warren county Situation but in their area covers Tullahoma, Coffee, Decalb and possibly other Counties. it is a common problem and hearing about people posting about the situation really helps people relate to the feelings and mayble give some ideas as to how to deal with it. It also covers how parents feel when the kids have some ability to even go to college on the athletic Schlorship and the school not provide the interest to have a coach and a program for them to meet their goals. Warren county is a proud County that in their existance has excelled in everything and a few years back, everything fell apart. It Would be good to hear another story.

We have one victory in our last 22 games. We are ranked #111 out of 114 AAA teams. We have around 1,800 students at Warren County. We have had numerous players to leave this program in recent years and probalby will lose more players after this year. Maybe it's time for this coaching staff to leave !!
