sgunit30
Alex Holling and Jaron Norfleet From Brentwood i think alex holling and norfleet are both good football players however i dont think either are on the all state leval-holling is a very fast very quick tail back-ive seen him run drills up at western while on recruiting trips-however his a small kid and i think their are other tail backs in our region and many others in our state with the same speed a quickness with the size to go with it-i don thave alot to say about norfleet-it just seems that other than his great size-he doesnt seem to have the same raw ability as others in the region-he also played on a D that was at best the 3rd best in the region-others played D on teamas where tackles were much harder to come by
CHS 2007
This region is probably the best overall. But to be honest, I'm not sure if any single player stands out as an all-state candidate. I'd say either Rayburn or Frohock has probably the best chance. donathan5507
That's how I felt as far as nobody really standing out--I think Cleckner might get the nod because I believe he received some all-state votes last year, but I could be mistaken. He's been starting since his freshman year. Chris Darnell might be able to make it as a second-team WR because the majority of the voters don't get to see these teams play and they rely on stats. Of course, we're all in trouble if JL holds a vote. Edited November 25, 2006 by donathan5507
RavenCat
I think one of those Ravenwood tackles should make the list
donathan5507
I agree. Joe Thompson gets my vote.
CHS 2007
If the voting is done based on the regular season, the sad thing about that is voters will concentrate more on the records when dealing with O-Lineman. Thompson had a great year, but that 6-4 record might shy voters away. Now if the voting is done after the playoffs, then that's a whole different story. RavenCat
I agree. Joe Thompson gets my vote. Actually, I'd likely lean toward the Snowy kid #60......he graded out better & he's my little Raptor....

Ditto for Snowy and also for Cleckner. If he continues on his current path, you can lock up QB next year with Becker.

A fair bias to have. You've raised quite a bright kid as well as a tremendous football player. Good luck to you guys on Saturday. I'll be there to support region 6-5A.
