Yeah, Mawal is going to Georiga Tech. They should be pretty good next year. Maurice Miller from Raleigh-Egypt is also going there. Plus, Thaddeus Young and Javaris Crittenton are 2 of the best freshmen in the country. And their other sophmore guard Clinch is their leading scorer now.

georgia tech will be a contender for a championship for sure in a few years!!

I'm not so sure, if oak hill runs all nite like they did tonite i think liberty will be glad to run with them i say oak hill by 15-20

Oak hill will run liberty and every team in Tennessee out of the gym.

Look at the match ups

Sampson vs jennings

Jennings will make him look bad very bad.

Noal smith and Jewuan

It will be the best matchup all nite

Legion vs sain

Legion will beat him

Antwan vs vaulan

Vaulan will crush him

Tomkin vs devon jones

Hahaha Devon will have a long nite

This game will be long over by half time. Liberty needs to hold the ball at half court the entire game so that the score isnt that bad. if Liberty runs with oak hill it will get ugly fast. Oak Hill runs better than Liberty and has better sets than Liberty.

What happened to the TSSAA rule banning basketball teams from playing out of state teams like Oak Hill and Hargrave? Was it taken away or did it only apply to Hargrave?

Either way, When you have the kind of talent Oak Hill does. No high school team besides Norcross who has basically four 4-5 star players on their team can run with them like that. Regardless of whether Oak Hill doesn't play Liberty's style. When you get into a running game like that, the more athletic team almost always wins.

What do you know about basketball? You are from lake conty. There is nothing athletic in lake county. I am a Liberty fan. Don't call my players out like that, Liberty's starting five is awesome. Athletics are 30% physical and 70% mental wise man. If they show the same heart they have in the past they can win. And remember this everyone has a bad night. They were not suppose to beat Mitchell. And rankings are overrated. By the way has lake county won anything? Lol!

Yes, Liberty beat Mitchell in a game no one thought they'd win...However, last year's Mitchell team would've been beaten easily by this Oak Hill team...You don't get ranked number 1 by accident...You say rankings are overrated...You say the best team doesn't always win...You say everyone has bad nights...You say all this, and then in the same breath, you say that no one in Tennessee is going to stop Liberty on their way to state championship, as if they are the only team that isn't susceptible to having a bad night...Sounds like your biased point of view to me..

Once again, just so I don't come across as a "Liberty hater" or anything like that...Liberty has a great team...Probably the best in the state....Being from Humboldt, I have a lot of respect for this program...We played in their district for 2 years along with Bolivar, McNairy, etc. and had some great games between those two...However, Liberty is NOT in the same league as Oak Hill...It would take Liberty's absolute best performance, Oak Hill's worst, and some luck on the side of Liberty to pull this one out

    • It's time to play everybody's favorite game of how is this season going to go. I'll undertake the fool's errand of a prediction. Encourage the region 2 fans to do the same. Cloudland: Top until they get beat always seem to perform year in year out with a small changing roster. Cosby, North Greene: These two could finish in either order they didn't have big senior classes. Lots of young guys got experience last season and most of their best athletes are upperclassmen it'll depend on coaching and if the kids can put it all together.  Jellico, Unaka: Like the two above could finish in either spot both of them lost key pieces to graduation. It'll depend on how returners play and if young guys can fill shoes.  Hancock: Small roster size devastated by a big senior class that took a lot of the experience and athleticism with them.
    • Confident that Marion, Moore, and Gordonsville are losses.  7-3 would be a nice turnaround.  5-5, 4-6, 3-7, etc. and it's a disappointment
