Greenbrier Ladycats lost a couple of big guns this year! But they have came back with a awesome 2 3 defense and they are dominating the paint. Stuff has been said about Greenbrier not winning more than 5 games but they have already won 3 and tonight they play Harpeth @ home which they are coming out to get a 4th victory!

Harpeth was 12 of 16 from 3 in their last game against Sycamore

...and it's raining. I guess we all know what that means... :)

:):o:)

Greenbrier got beat tonight! But they faught hard, just that Harpeth has a great press and the Ladycats couldn't get it together. There was some people that stepped up tonight for Greenbrier and showed what they really have. But Ladycats have to get ready for PJPII on Friday @ home.

Last friday Greenbrier played a great game against JPII. As a JPII fan and knowing the history of Greenbrier i was impressed by what coach Bradshaw was trying to do. If they play that hard they will do well in their region. The final wasn't indicative of how close it was and JPII conditioning and post play was the difference. Good luck to Lady Cats.

That is true. We had no answer for your post that night.

Thanks for the well wishes. We'll see y'all tomorrow night in Gallatin. Good luck to the Lady Knights of JPII the rest of the season.

The TSSAA directory lists Julie Head as the coach, but isn't there a guy coaching the team?

Yes, there is a guy ( a volunteer) coaching the team! Guess TSSAA rules of advertising the position does not apply to Greenbrier. Who would have thought you couldn't find someone experienced to coach a AA team. Come on now, do we really believe this??? Could they have yelled out "We don't care about the girls' program any more?"

If you want to coach in high school, and not just AAU, get the degree! If it's not that improtant to you stick to the volunteer teams.

In Greenbrier, sometimes not saying anything says a lot, doesn't it? (i.e., ignore the problem and it'll go away; or, who cares about the student-athletes, we can wait till the last minute to make a decision if we want...'cause we're (sniff-sniff) the administrators)

Do you even think the principal knows we have a sports program? If her attendance (support?) at games says anything, then nevermind, I have my answer.
