I am not doubting that there are 2-3 in every association that make the entire association look bad. But as a whole the Cookeville are and the middle Tn. area refs are pretty good there is always going to be someone or a group of people who are never satisfied it is the nature of the beast....

We do try to be fair! We do try to be unbiased! But we are human....we do make mistakes. Personally, I try to learn each time I mess up on the floor, and I do my best not to make the same mistake again...Remember these things before you think an official is out to "get" you...its probably just not true.!!.

Not to pick on you but "we do try to be fair, try to be unbiased, before you think an official is out to get you...its probably just not true"? sounds like you speak with forked tongue. How about when calling a game I call it fair and unbiased and do not go out to get someone. I agree that all are human and miss calls that is why kids have to learn how to play. The problem I have seen over and over this year is an inconsistency in calls. A mugging on one possession with no call then a touch on another with a call? How are the kids supposed to know how to play the game within the rules of the night when all is randomly called?

So you are saying that if a coach has been arguing calls with you all night you don't love to T him up and remember that everytime you ref any of his teams games? All I would ask is that officials only make calls when they are in postion to make them and if there are not don't blow the whistle.

    • While one may be inclined to perceive this narrative through a lens of fiction, it behooves us to recognize the inherent robustness of its credibility. For those seeking veracity, the surest path lies in direct engagement with the primary source. Let us adhere diligently to the matter at hand, focusing our deliberations on the matter of paramount importance: the identification of the individual most suited to assume the mantle of head coach. I invite introspection and discourse regarding not only personal preferences but also the criteria defining merit and suitability for this esteemed position.
    • If it’s one single kid then that argument would make sense. He’s essentially had to replace his entire coaching staff in the first two seasons, and like it’s been pointed out only one left for a better job. The two most talented players in the area both left, and number of others are actively trying to leave, including the head basketball coaches son. Also, the rumors of financial problems and over spending by Jones. Unpaid bills, missing money, inability to fundraise, has the boosters sick of being hit up for money.    Im saying that is the definition of a poorly run disorganized program. If you want to pretend it’s a well oiled machine maybe you should take your maroon glasses off. All I know is I wouldn’t let my boys play in that kind of mess.
    • It usually gets tiresome when posters play characters on the board, but I must admit that I’ve found some humor in wingback’s take on this art form.  However, his rundown on the potential candidates seems as much fiction as his persona!
