Macon has the talent to finish in the top two of the district but will finish 5 th, but just a great basketball district with great coachs and players. LA has a good team but if we keep playing like we are now clean out a place for that AA Gold Ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO LADY BEE's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bee_Fan20
I will have to say Upperman by 15 or more. I honestly believe Upperman is 20 points better than livngton. However this being a home game for livingston who knows. I think Livingston goes to the bench way too much. I think the starters or top 7 players should be in the game more than they were when they came to baxter. I look for Upperman to win this one in easy fashion. 68-53 Upperman. Overton County Fan
I also haven't been able to figure out Coach Smith's rotation patterns, but the lady must be doing something right. She has won a state championship! This will be a very close game, even closer than the boys game. Livingston - 70 Upperman - 66 in overtime.. jimbo44
This game has less meaning than in previous years. Before, the #1 team in district play got a bye in the first round of the tourney, that meant a lock, no matter what, for a Reg. seed. This year, both #1 and #2 get a Bye, with 6 and 7 having a play in game. This year, every team has to earn those Region seeds, in dist. tourney play. Overton County Fan
So, now there is no auto-bid to the regions for the 1 seed? That stinks. But if they can't beat the 6/7 seed they don't need to make it anyways I guess.
jimbo44
I like this over the old flip-of-the-coin. And go to the Region.

This year, every team has to earn those Region seeds, in dist. tourney play. this does not make sense in a 7 team district --- if only one gets a by -- you have six left --- equals three games to be played first as the number one waits --- if one and two get a bye --- that leaves five teams to play -- so somebody won't play the same number of games by the end -- so which FOUR teams play first ?? this makes no sense -- help me understand
