The Bobcats played a lot of players; the starters plus Sells, Elmore, Brown and Copeland in gaining a 67-35 lead before the other reserves went in. HS kept in their starters to the end and made a furious comeback, but PC was never really threatened even though the final score looked close. As ususal, the Wildcats' Ethan Birdwell was outstanding and tore it up against the PC reserves, scoring 34 for the game...4 more of him and the Wildcats would be challenging for the district title. He should be one of the best in the district next year, not that he isn't as a junior. Brent Logan had 4 threes and 18 for the Bobcats. They are now 21-7.

Ethan Birdwell "IS" one of the best players in the Upper Cumberland and one of the top players in 7A for sure as a junior, the sky's the limit for him next year! An arguement could be made for him being the district MVP!

Where will he attend school next year?

Good question! He would look good wearing Blue and White thats for sure however i'm sure the black and gold and red and white both want him as well!

I asked him last night and he said Red Boiling Springs more than likely. And they will be glad to have him. He is an outstanding player as he proved last night.
