No Queenie he voted against it, he was at the same table I was he said it should be rotated or held at a neutral site. He said it was an unfair advantaged for us (UHS), I see his point, but I'm sure glad its here. He tried to sell the "dungeon", he even gave you several plugs saying, "Smith County had the BEST concession stand in the STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. I am wrong about the early part of the schedule. I will amend that.

Let's read the Sports page about the semifinal round.

So true about the concession stand bit...I'm glad he thinks that...(his little guy sure likes the concession stand!!!)...BUT...wow...that would be just toooooo much basketball...I've told people we shouldn't let him out of the county!!!...If you sit beside him anymore...slap him silly if he tries to get MORE basketball at SCHS!!!

I think he does. Coach Dodgen is an excellent coach and I think he will use the right strategies to lead his Lionettes to victory. Cannon comes on strong in the district tournament. Lion's win by three. Good Luck Lionettes! Lion Pride!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
