Who ended up winning the WV-Central game?

 

How did WV look?

Central looked good in the games this weekend, we played the JV in the last 2 games Saturday. The varsity only played 1 or 2 innings in those 2 games. What do others that were their think of our chances this year ?

Chatt Central will be just fine... with 8 seniors- at least five of them returning starters... not to mention the a couple juniors here and there that can be bigtime playmakers when they come to play...Central has speed, experience, and consistent hitters... Looking forward to a competitive district this year...

Walker Valley beat us 3-2 after the first inning, to bad they got 7 in the first to make it 10-2. We actually looked pretty good after we got started.

Central should be real good. They have several starters who have started on varsity for the past 2 or 3 years.

I remember they were real young a couple of years ago. They have good players now who are older and experienced.

I had my doubts about our pitching, Then the first game Aaron Fredrick pitches a no hitter. I think we may be fine this year.

Ooltewah 11 - Central 9 . Not a bad loss for a bunch of HOME GROWN players playing againt 7 college signee's.

The last time I checked all the runs count until the last out is recorded. it's not like you had your back-up players in the game. we left bases loaded once and several other runners on that could have won us the game. I know it is hard for you to accept that we gave the Ooltewah Dream Team a run for your money, but thats just what we did...GO POUNDERS !!!
