How do the different school's stack up in the district this year?

 

Will it be CreekWood again this year, or will another team claim the top spot?

creek wood has probably built a dynasty. im not sayin that they wont be beat im just sayin that they will still be good even after losin their ace cadwell this season. coach jackson does a great job with her team.

The Harpeth/Creekwood matchup has always been a pretty good rivalry--with Harpeth under a new coaching staff who knows what could happen.

creek wood will struggle to replace last years seniors.not much travel ball and knowledge of the game.

i disagree. yes they did lose their ace, but they have a young new ace that will be their for a while.

 

Oh, AND they can still hit the ball pretty good!!!!! Besides their ace, they didnt lose too much.

It is now officially softball time in District 11AA. No teams are short-handed due to basketball going on. With Cheatham County's loss in the region tournament, everyone should have thir full compliment of players. I am not sure if CCHS has any players on the basketball team, but if they do they should be at softball practice tomorrow.

 

Has anyone in the district played any scrimmages yet? If so, who did you play, and how did it go? The season starts 2 weeks from today.

Creek Wood still has to be considered one of the top team going into the season. Coach Jackson has always done an excellent job with the talent available to her.

creek wood played beech tonight. not sure how they did yet.

Beech usually has a pretty tough squad. That should give CreekWood an idea as to where they are in comparison to last year.

it was a tied ball game last night at 2 2 until creek wood put in their subs. beech won, not sure of final score.

just wanted to post this, charlotte lady tigers softball team won a tournament this weekend at the boro with 16 teams in it. congrats to them and congrats to creek wood on gettin all of this talent for years to come!!!

No predictions here, after this weekend at the Beech play day,it's put up or shut up come Monday. What is everyone's first week look like. Sycamore has a full schedule.

 

Monday a trip to Stewart Co. to start the season and kick off the district.

Tuesday a much improved Fairview team pays a call to the Lady War Eagles.

Wednesday, Commando Classic: Munford at 6:30, then the first of two games with State power Goodpasture.

Thursday, day two brings a good Wilson Central team at 4:00, then LaVergne at 5:30

Friday are games with Bradley Central 6:30, don't know much about them but heard their good and an very good Blackman team at 8:00

Saturday a second game with Goodpasture, then what ever the brackets bring.
