i heard from a certain source that they are voting thursday to see if we can start the tournament friday instead of saturday next week

your exactly right veer...the source told me that it had to be 8 for yes or it didn't past cause some teams may want more time to practice that week so we'll find out soon enough

I doubt this will pass because i think it makes more sense just to get the bulk of the games in on Saturday, and then finish it out the rest of the week. I mean we have all week to finish the tournament so why rush it?

Here is a pretty good idea for the district, divide each of the 8 teams into two pools of 4 and play double elmination that way .

 

 

one bracket

1vs8

4vs5

 

 

two bracket

2vs7

3vs6

 

lets the #1 seed host their bracket and #2 host theirs

 

then let the winners of the two brackets play a one game winner take all championship game

with those two teams advancing to the region tournament

 

some of the 8-team districts do this already .... just and idea

Our field isnt gonna be ready, but we might be playing there instead. We were gonna play Station Camp but that fell threw, so we might play at Hunters Lane.

we got rained out with station camp today but we got portland at portland tomorrow...and it don't matter whether we play friday or saturday, everybody better bring their A game or there season is over
