Fair Warning.........to Forrest........

 

After watching the East Robertson game tape over and over the VB Eaglettes are a down right dirty team. I hope you have good officials or they will hurt your star players. That is all they are out to do. They have no talent and offense. They just flat out go after people and try to hurt them.

They won 20 games and beat the defending state champs once so I doubt that they have no talent. They arent the ones who missed free throws late in the game...

Have you seen this team play? I went back in previous posts and I guess we are not the first team to think they were a bit over the top with the way they played. Squatchie County game they knocked some girl out. There is a difference in playing hard and going out on the court to hurt someone. Even the girls on the bench were mouthing to the crowd and players. That isn't sportsmanship. The coach did NOTHING. I have no respect for that in a game. I understand going hard and playing hard, but they really did just play flat out dirty ball. I wouldn't have posted until I saw what was said in the past. It is a shame our girls are not there tonight, they deserve it!! They play clean.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.

      No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.

      He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
