Yep, this was the first time that I had seen him this year. If he had Batt's heart & his talents, he could have his pick of several D1 schools. I wonder why he doesn't play with more energy. Do you think that he was nursing some kind of minor injury?

 

The BGA kid who is going to Rice Univ. didn't play with much heart this year either!

 

I actually coached McAdoo in a Church League in Nashville when he was about 8 years old! I could tell that he had some serious talent way back then.

I agree Donothan. I can't explain it. Both teams seemed to be going through the motions............like robots.

You obviously have a lot of class to say that a young man is garbage. How many times have you seen him play? Who on your Indy team is better? McAdoo is a great kid and a talented player. He does not deserve to be called garbage.

McAdoo tried 3 running jumper shots when he could have easily just posted up. he hit all three off of the front of the rim. The kid could be one of if not the best players in the state but he is not smart. Watch him in the huddle he disassociates himself from everyone. He acts like he is out there because he has to be. From what i saw last night Wells looks like a much better player. McAdoo did step it up late, he got somewhat physical and that helped Antioch get a small run, but after the way they started out it just wasn't enough. This game lacked intensity, the Franklin game was a true regional tournament semifinal caliber game

macadoo is not garabage at all he has dominated some good teams this year.. i just dont think he got in the flow of the game and that is hard to do with a pesky team like whites creek.. the game was slow and lacked any intensity because the best player on the floor had a box and 1 on him so thats why the game was boring good job to antioch they almost pulled it out i like that they threw the junk defense on jamie....

Thats the second time that "junk" defense, box and one has somewhat stunned Jamie. In his last two games against antioch he has averaged 5.5 points...............Give Antioch credit for making adjustments from the first game.

 

Again each game I walk away more impressed with Kyle Upton(no. 20) antioch. That kid is the real deal. He came to play. His knifing move in the 4th quarter which the ref called a travel was so fast the ref assumed he took three steps.

 

Antioch will be the team to beat next year.

Agreed. Good luck to the cobras from here on. I think you should have a shot to go deep into the field at MTSU.

i have seen those junk defense thrown around over the years but never have i seen a player as patient with it as jaime has been you beat a box in 1 by passing and somebody else on the team has to step up and thats what happened. you cant really look at points that jaime had because he was supposed to pass the ball like he did. and his man he was guarding mike williams didnt do anything on offense so i say jaime played a good game.

 

also if whites creek wants to run with franklin, franklin will run back and this time they will hit more threes

Well, FHS tried running with Whites Creek for a little while in the second half. I believe as the WC lead grew, they decided on a different strategy.

 

Oh well, on to Clarksville. GO REBELS!!!

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
