What is the buzz on the team and how have the scrimmages been?

 

Pitching? Hitting? Fielding? COACHING?

I know that the addition of Doc Ramsey is key. Though he will only coach the seventh graders, he will have a future impact. He has a good deal of pitching knowledge.

SH got buzzzzzed by Elizabethon. SH has descent pitching and will improve thru the year. Defense was fine in scrimmage. Reed is coaching. SH sticks were sleeping in the scrimmage (Betsy pitching helped with the sleeping).

I know SH can hit so Betsy pitching must be pretty good, unless you want to blame it on early season woes.

That scrimmage was set up in a series of 3 inning 'games'. SH has a good senior class and very capable underclassmen. They will be in the hunt! Good luck...

Science hill is a very solid team this year. They have a nice blend in Senior experience and a very talented younger class. Matt Rice is one of the top catchers in the state. And then they also have Paul Hoilman who is one of the top pitchers in the state so i could see them doing a lot of damage this year.

I think Science Hill and East will be fighting for the chance to knock off DB. Could be some gridlock at the top with all three teams.

Loaded and winning don't go together sometimes. I'm sure DB will have a fantastic season but they have to win the ones that really count. SH will play everyone tough to the end. Those young men are competitors. Good luck.....

SH is going to struggle this year more than people think and they wont beat DB at all and they will split with East

I agree that Science Hill and DB are gonna be 1 and 2 in the Big 9, but i think alot of people are looking past Central. If they all play up to their potential, they could end up being the surprise of the conference.
