Garrett Felts with Mfc91 is quick and can play most positions. He played varsity in his freshman year and transferred schools so unfortunatley according to tssaa rules he can't play varsity for one year.

He is definetly one to watch. He knows the game, can play every position, is a respected leader for the team and has speed and endurance.

He played this weekend for the u16 and will be playing @ the John Talley Tournament next weekend. He definitley needs to be seen as a contender for up and coming sophmores.

Some good players on that team. Do a lot of them choose to play club instead of high school in the spring?

No. There is no option. High school varsity with tssaa rules are very limited. The club and school coaches are supposed to abid by these. It is the players that get hurt by these regulations. The TN boys soccer league is in spring. High school soccer in Tn is also in spring. If you played two minutes of varsity ( per tssaa) you are not qualified to play with your high school team for one year. That is where the problem lies. ( If you changed schools for gang fights, safety, education zoning, etc. it doesn't really matter. If you played two minutes for varsity and your parents had you transferred to another school for safety reasons, it doesn't really matter to tssaa.

Some excellent players are put under the radar because of ....do I know him status. thnks, colt

Some of the MFC 90s startrers are the guys who quit CBHS, and they are playing with Bute for the spring. Garrett played with them along with some 92s, and they did well in the last two tournaments over the last two weekends.

Who ever said that Alex Hutchins wasnt fast...you are sadly mistaken, he is amazingly quick with the ball at his feet and has amazing speed. He starts for the 90' State champions Arsenal and he could play 91 but continues to play an age up. Hard to do these days!

QUOTE(ManU90 @ Mar 9 2007 - 11:07 PM) 826406975[/snapback]who are some of the best sophomores in the state?

pat kelly of hendersonville and TNFC 90's is very good, jonah from Father Ryan and HFC, houston oldham MBA and HFC, graham williams BGA and chaos, mark sherrod not sure what high school and lakeway kickers.

those are some very good ones.

Mark Sharrod is the best sophmore Forward in the state and one of the best forwards period.

Aaron Attkisson tops the list. He is the real deal. Plays all positions. Outstanding mid-fielder, good forward, and a relentless defender. Very fast and is just as fast at the end of the game as the beginning.

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
