screenandroll
Krich, putting you on the spot. You've traded in your pen and computer for a whistle and a pair of sneakers. You have taken this group of girls and given them the very best training anyone could give them to prepare them for the start of the upcoming season. Your AD doesn't like you very much so he has scheduled your opening game. His friend Coach Burkey at Shelbyville has gladly agreed to be your first opponent, by the way this game is being played at the "Summitt" and being televised on ESPN2. Time has come to put your starting five on the floor. The announcer says, "Starting at......please fill us in. (won't hold any decisions against you but do remember as a coach you are now open to second guessing)
krichunaka
Screen, In the name of good sportsmanship, I'll try to narrow it down. The Eaglettes have Five Seniors, to include, Six-Six Center, Alex Jarrel. They also have a six-foot junior, Anisha Buchanan. A pretty imposing lineup, suggesting we might have to go Big, with three post players. I think three of your starters - Michaela, Alisha, and Payge are fine. And then? A Unaka Lady Ranger! Either Brittany Scott, because she's the most versatile/balanced, perimeter-to-post player (offense and defense) on our roster. or . . . . Kayla Winters - Always a Double-Double threat and great backside defender. And, the most improved Sophomore in the Tri-Counties. Now, Post, Point, or Shooting-Guard? Post: Marti - Steady, Reliable Post Defender, Offensive Rebounder. Shooting Guard:Victoria - Proven in so many big games. Good Shooter - Very good Defender. Point-guard - See previous post. I really do like all of them that much. And, regardless of the situation, Mikki Oliver has the talent, determination, and versatility, to start.
