QUOTE(winatallcost10 @ Mar 27 2007 - 08:49 PM) 826424400Beech beat Wilson Central 10-1 today at Wilson Central. This moves Beech to 7-2 and 3-0 in the district.

Good job, Bucs! Any word on Hville's games this week? /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

I wonder what a 7-AAA vs 9-AAA standings will come out looking like for the Classic this weekend?

QUOTE(eagle26 @ Apr 12 2007 - 10:14 PM) 826436350I understand that Beech won at LaVergne Thursday night. Saw in the Smyrna, Gallatin topic that Smyrna prevailed in 9 innings.

Anyone have details?

Other 9AAA games tonight?

Smyrna was up 5-3 when #44 for Gallatin came up and hit a 2 run homer to tie it then it just kept going until Austin Townes led off the ninth with a home run and then after that it was all down hill for Gallatin, Smyrna started hitting like they could and scored 6 in the ninth and then Egerton shut them down.. good job gallatin though..

    • Yes region 1 is extremely weak but a # 5 seed out of region 2 has no business in the playoffs either.
    • They've had some great talent over the years. They usually don't whip no one but can be tough to stop on offence.
    • Could be a lot of reason from what I’ve seen so far.  The lights wouldn’t turn on at Smyrna last night and had to move games to Blackman could be a reason or maybe he is talking about how on some of the games on NFHS network the camera placement was absolutely asinine. ( had a camera set up right in front of a net and couldn’t see crap)
    • If Gordonsville can manage getting through these next 2 games without using him it will be ideal. ER was the last team to not have to pitch their #1 till the state championship i believe. Worked out well for them but they also had one of the best 1A staffs of all time that year. Only allowed one run the whole tournament and it was in the 7th inning.
    • And he’s not even their #1. Lights out performance. Gordonsville is in the drivers seat with their #1 arm available throughout the tournament.
