Page scored 1 run in the top of the 2nd as Logan Adams singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a double by Travis Day. Page added 4 more runs in the top of the 3rd as Jim Caporali reached base on an outfield error and advanced to 2nd. He advanced to 3rd on a 4-3 ground out and stole home on a steal to 2nd by CR David Seeman for Catcher Scott Lynn who walked. Jeff Hughes then hit a Home Run to LC that also scored Seeman. Codi Webb then singled, Logan Adams walked, and Tyler White singled to score Webb as Page took a 5-0 lead. Page left the bases loaded as Travis Day also singled, but Hillsboro got the final two outs on pop-ups. Page added another run in the top of the 4th as Trevor Scott singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a single by Jeff Hughes to make it 6-0 Page. In the top of the 5th inn, Page added 2 more runs as both Tyler White and Travis Day both reached base on infield errors and eventually scored on a passed ball and a wild pitch, respectively. Hillsboro's lone run came in the bottom of the 5th as Brandon Harden doubled and scored with 2 outs on an infield error on a ball hit by Andre Sanders as Page still leads 8-1 In the top of the 6th inn, Page scored 5 runs as 12 players came to the plate. Here are the players that scored or had RBI's: Ben Olivares - 2 Walks - 1 run Logan Adams - Reached base on FC6 - 1 run Tyler Waddell - Walk - 1 run Brian Robbins - Walk - 1 run scored on wild pitch - 1 RBI Andrew Mutz - Single - 1 run - 2 RBI's Matt Flagg - Single - 1 RBI Page now leads 13-1. In the bottom of the 6th, Hillsboro threatened as they loaded the bases on an infield error by Page, a walk and single with two outs, but Page Reliever Ben Olivares struck out the final batter as Page took the win at 13-1 and improves their record to 5-2. ARAMIS2005 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 Page has a good ballclub. I am with Gallatin and we played them both in the preseason and regular season.
