Errors were a major factor. Massey pitched a masterful game.

Errors is what gets Ooltewah beat everytime. I've seen 3-4 games where they have 5+ errors in each game....

Tyler Massey kept the Owls strong line up in check all night. Baylor just took advantage of their mistakes and made them hurt.

excuse me sir......6.5 and 6.6's and (they also play football so I new their 40 times as well) but that didnt really matter since all they had to do was trott around the bases for the 3 run homer!

Recently, the Milwaukee Brewers position players were timed in the 60. Fastest three times were 6.59, 6.61, 6.69 by two outfielders and an infielder. 6.5 is moving! Shoot, 6.8 is moving!

Impressive win for Baylor. A couple of people have mentioned that errors hurt the Owls but it also appears the Owl bats were not as powerful as they have been most of the year. Good pitching or was it just one of those games where nothing went right for the beasts from Hooterville?

Looks like a combination of all. There's no question Massey pitched a fantastic game. But as Ward said in the paper, 6 unearned runs. BUT, that's baseball! Second game in a row that Jeremy hasn't gotten the backup he deserved!

 

good job to Baylor for capitalizing on it though! That's what good teams do!
