I had the opportunity to be a part of several teams that went up against Billy Wilson teams. I also had the opportunity to get to know him and I truly liked him. I always respected the teams he put on the field and hated to play at WEST. I knew going over there would be a dogfight. East Tennessee football will not be the same without him. My prayers to his family and to the Bearden football program.

Just an incredible man, father, husband and coach. He touched so many lives. I don't think any coach has done as much for kids, he really helped out the less fortunate kids. He was undescrible..Sad day. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.
