Bartlett Job

I read on the Tn. board that the Bartlett job was open. I know that used to be a great job. What is the story now? Anyone know?

Coach Deaton resigned so that he could spend more time with his family. It's still a great job in my opinion although Bartlett has been hurt by the school board's inexplicable re-zoning the past few years. The job has been reported, as you saw, and I know of one candidate already in the running but it may be some time before a coach is named. The sooner the better.

Congrats to Michael Couey on getting the job, one of Oakland's own. While I am happy for Michael, this isnt the same Bartlett of 5 years ago, but with time I think he can regain Bartlett to some of its former glory. Lot of interested folks in the boro will be following Bartlett now
