I agree with you. The grass was the same for both teams. In some countries kids play on nothing but dirt and some rock, and they even play bearfooted so I think in games like that who ever wants it more will get the win

I have personally witnessed at least two occasions where the endlines were a little crooked resulting in the ball staying in play, passed out front, and a critical goal being scored. If I were coaching I would inspect the endlines before each away game. Also, there's nothing like looking down from the stands and seeing perfectly straight white lines against a uniformly green surface.
