I wanna know what the state record is in the steeple and what does it take to shatter it.

I've heard is was somewhere around 6:15. Thats 5 minute pace. I think a couple of people in the state are capable of beating that right now, assuming they can jump barriers and water faily well.

Who is running it on May 5th at the Milner race at Vandy?? Can anyone break the record, and if they did would anyone care??

I ran a 6:49 the other day and finished 5th overall and 3rd Tennessean. I plan on running the May 5th one. Who is this and are you running? Hopefully we can get a number of guys under 6:40. 6:15 is a very tall order especially if you haven't run one before. I thought there was no way that I would run slower than 6:30, but it really is a lot tougher than you think it would.
