quit being a jerk they are down more than a couple of players and are playing one of there most offensive threats at defense but bearden better be ready cause sd will be ready

chill out nednatterjack. no one ever said that was an excuse for a loss. we might have 13 seniors but one of those cant play b/c of academics and two of the seniors havent played in 8 years. so chill out. South Doyle isnt looking for a excuse. it was just a topic starter. and no one ever said that south doyle was so great. people said that they arent getting the respect they deserve.

they are out 2 key starters. no speed on the right side of the field and an attacking mid playing defense making his first start of the year. the long throw will not be in the game tonight and Nathan burns has had leg problems all week. Nednatterjerk where do u play at? just wondering because of your hostility to any forum dealing with SDHS. guessing they either beat you and your mad or u play for farragut and u are mad at bearden for beating you and you are depending on a nearly unheard of team to salvage your season. but then again those are all just guesses...back to the point though, good luck to both teams and im sure we will see both of these guys again in the post season

3-0 is a bit ridiculous but this will be a really good game. my guess is 0-0 or 1-0 bearden. SD's attack will be crippled but i played club with nathan ZIVI and hes a trick. he is quick but small and this is going to be a physical game hes an easy pushover. if SD doesnt let him fall in the box than he will be useless this game. they know who to mark now its just about who wants it more.

My bad, I should chill out. I actually really want SD to beat Bearden, and I just think that by obsessing over players being out that they are setting themselves up for failure.

 

No joke...I really want SD to win this game.

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
