I feel that Portland is the only team that has close to a sure lock on getting through. I expect seeds 1-4 to all get through to the semis, just like last year, and if that happens, WH vs. Station Camp will be the semi-final to watch (a nice little rematch from the district semis last year. These two teams just can't seem to avoid each other in the elimination rounds)

Other than that, I'm not gonna make any foolish predictions. Good luck to everybody.

P.S.- Is the district being held at Portland this year?

This distict is not one to be predicted to many things can happen.

last year top seed station camp went out the semi's to the 4th seed after an ingury to a crucial forward.

and the distric went to 3rd seed portland , who lost the the 4th seeded distric team, white house in regional final.

but in this distict there are to many varible to make a true prediction.

but it guarenteed to be a entergetic and high paced final. one to watch.

Station Camp 2, White House 1

Reffing was poor to say the least. It took a WH player getting knocked unconscious to get the refs to actually start calling things. WH fought hard, but SC's offense eventually overpowered the young WH defense about ten minutes into the 2nd half. With about 20 mins left after SC's 2nd goal, WH shifted to the 4-3-3, which created a flurry of offensive opportunities for WH, but the SC defense held strong until the goalie got carded. This gave WH an indirect kick about eight yards out, and even though S.C. had the goal full of players, the ball sailed in to create the final margin.

Trash talking and poor sportsmanship were prevalent throughout the match, although more so towards the end. Station Camp's goalie was mouthing off for about twenty minutes before the refs finally carded him (again a sign of the lazy and poor reffing), and some of the remarks coming out of the players' mouths when S.C. finally scored was nothing short of classless. Not to say WH was innocent by any means; it did go both ways. But with the exception of one very frustrated senior playing in his last game, WH couldn't rival SC in the dirtiness of their gameplay.

Congrats to WH on their season and congrats to SC on the win. Any result from the Portland-Merryl Hyde semi?

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
