While the other one was closed, I wanted to open one up if anyone wanted to make any comments about the game and were unable to.

I agree with Uniden's comment about our game in the Farragut Bearden thread. This was one of the best high school games I have seen in recent years. It wasn't the "ooh and ahh" factor, but a battle of two teams that I feel are so even in talent (though in different spots). Very hard paced, not a whole lot of subs, just guys working their legs when they ran out of gas some 20 minutes earlier.

I was very impressed with Chase. He not only is a strong player, but he really made a difference in the over time periods.

I am glad we faced a pressure PK situation. My guys can hit pk's in practice again and again, when there is "nothing" on the line, and when your legs aren't dead. It was a good lesson to face in a game that didn't end your season.

I'm a terrible pk shooter. I could hit them in practice. I was in in like 4 shootouts in my club days, and never made a pk /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Wish I could of seen this game. If both teams advance, when will the next one be?

Im assuming it would be at Knox Catholic. If its not on Friday of next week I will DEF. be there this time.

I would have to agree with you Coach G, Chase seems to really make a difference off and on the field, I wish him luck and I am sure Catholic will really miss him next year

QUOTE(allsoccer @ May 14 2007 - 09:57 AM) 826458867[/snapback]Could either the CAK or the Catholic games be an upset?

Does Seymour have a chance against the Irish?

How about ALcoa against CAK?

Alcoa has done a great job getting ready for this game. Coach Gorman has scheduled some very good teams in regular season (Bearden, Maryville, Christian Brothers, Oak Ridge to name a few) so they will not be intimidated at all in facing CAK. They have an incredible keeper, who last year played outstanding in this game. It will be a tough match. No gimmies here.

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
