BankofDad
MAN OF THE YEAR: Andy Moore (Hillsboro) COACH OF THE YEAR: Tyler Hirsch (Franklin) ASSISTANT COACH OF THE YEAR: Chris Smith (MBA) Could someone shed some light on two of the awards above. Both are nice awards, but while knowing about Coach Hirsch's success. I know very little about Andy Moore and Chris Smith. I imagine there are a lot of fans in the same boat, so if someone could brag on these two a little, I think it would be interesting.

Coach Smith has been assisting the MBA staff since the late 1990's when he started as a volunteer. He joined the school in the alumni and admissions department and has been a great asset to MBA. On another note, I've been told that Chris Cahill is representing TN in what used to be the North/South all star game.

dfresh89
How did Nolan earn first team honors at face-off when Bible shut him down in the state quarterfinals? Do they do all of the voting before state or something?

Redtwin
How in the world would it be political? The coaches have a meeting the weekend of the state championships and they vote. Vihlen has dominated the state in face offs for two years now. He should have been 1st team in a land slide.
