Does not sit well with me at all. Tori Richardson and Lyssa Wiles should have been 1st Team, hands down. Let the Tennessean know how you feel, I did. Coach Adkins waited 16 years for a championship, nurtured the program from its inception and gets beat out by a second year coach with no state championship, go figure.

I have a hunch these awards, like a lot of others, are decided when the regular season ends but are not announced until after the post-season. After all, wouldn't it just be easier to wait until the season is over and award whoever finishes higher in the state?
