In the picture in the paper this morning the Goodpasture catcher looked shocked the runner was called safe at home. How close a play was it?

In the picture in the paper this morning the Goodpasture catcher looked shocked the runner was called safe at home. How close a play was it?

 

Well as the dad of the catcher that looked shock I will have to say it was real close as she was on the plate when the runner came across. But what was even closer was the pitching duel between 2 great pitchers. Ihave been around this game along time and have seen some of the best around TN. and I would rank this one right up there with the best.

What no comment from Ravenwoods coach.

 

The play was not real close as the runner clearly slid in well before the tag was made but it was a good throw to the plate but about a second too late. This was a great game between two of the best teams and pitchers in the state. Pitching and defense was the name of this classic.
