singray
I know this week has been a miserable time for the Gordonsville faithful. All of you waited for a year for last friday night. What happened in your opinion? Was Smith County that much better? Did Gordonsville play bad? Did injuries affect Gordonsvilles performance? What is Gordonsville doing to rebound? If the game could be played over would Gordonsville make a better game of it? I am just curious because I thought the score would be closer as I had seen both teams scrimmage in preseason. Just let it go singy. This game was played last week. SC dominated from start to finish. Everything you and postaldude predicted didn't happen. You will get GV next week. They have a good football team. They will rebound fine. I think they will pound you. Time will tell if SC is that good...or GV is not as good as you thought. A few words of advice...scrimmages don't mean much. Maybe now you can see that.
TheLivingLegend
Gordonsville was just forced to bow down to G-Lover, Antwan, and the Owls. They are a good football team. I think they will go deep into the playoffs.
REALESTGVILLETIGEREVER
The Tigers will be fine!! They just ran into a team they would have had to play thier best against to beat, and they just did not show up. I will never understand why. They were physically dominated in every phase of the game. Thank god that the owls turned the ball over five times or it could have been really bad. Like I said before the TIGERS WILL BE FINE... The games that count start this week (even if its Red Boiling). It will not be long before the Tiger take thier trip to the creekbank. Then we will know what they have. If they do not show there. Then Tigertown will have something to worry about. As for you antwan. Let the scrimmage thing go anyone that knows anything about football knows scrimmages do not count for anything. No reason to beat a dead horse. I understand that all the TIger fans were talking about it, but you have to consider some of the sources. For some reason I think singy and stamplicker are having a harder time dealing with this than the Tigers. There is a difference in getting beat and losing.....The Tigers did not loose the game....they got beat. If the better team wins, there is nothing you can do about it...Move on and improve where you can. Look at the G-ville-Sc thread and see what everybody said about the game....(I know you already have). You have seen G-ville and SC???? That could be the problem......The 2 lights you saw at the end of that tunnel had you confused.......What you see are TWO trains headed your way.................. Bishop Don A. Shizzle
SC is just THAT much better... that's all there is to it Gordonsville got outplayed and DEFINITELY outcoached!
bigreid
What exactly did you see in those scrimmages? SC and White House....you saw two defensive football teams knock the snot out of each other. In case you didn't know, the Blue Devils have been mentioned around the top of their class this year. Definately not a dominating performance of a weaker opponnent, which was the case when you watched the Tigers scrimmage. The score in this game should've been alot different. SC had 5 turnovers. One as they were driving around the 10 yard line. One when we were inside our own 10 yard line. If my memory serves correctly, the rest of them were on G-ville's side of the field as SC was driving the football. So sure....it could've been different and should've been worse. G-ville will put a beat down on Westmoreland. How's that make you feel sing?

Glad to see u GV boys bow down to SC. LOL You know what they say "Offense wins ball games but, defense wins championships." The owls have a good defense but, the offense will have to hold on to the ball.

The owls have a good defense but, the offense will have to hold on to the ball. That is very true. 5 turnovers will beat a good team most of the time. I am confident that problem will be solved...and soon.
