give them a little slack man. they still won 33 to 6. i know mc isnt very good, but all you have done is hate on creek wood this year. they are 2-2, and they are in the region picture. i think that great for them and i know they have loads of confidence. so please start bein positive instead of negative all the time. i thought you were with cw????? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Confidence is the key to CW being successful this year!!! They have to keep that "swagger" in order to keep winning games..No, Central isnt very good, but this win could give CW a boost to the playoffs..

 

As I see it:

 

DL: region champ

Giles: runner up

Marshall County: 3rd

CW: 4th- and a playoff birth

 

I see CW beating Page, Cheathem, and Spring Hill..

On the other hand, I have them losing to DL and Giles{ the 2 dominant teams in the region}

 

Good luck CW!!!!!

 

This week CW travels to non region foe Rossview. This 2 year old rivalry was dominated by the Wood both years.... However, 4a Rossview will be looking for some revenge this year... It should be a good one!!!

Creek Wood is looking about 100x better today then they did two weeks ago following two blowout losses to Clarksville High and Marshall County. The win at Fairview was a huge momentum changer as far as a season can possibly go. Trailing in the final period of the game the Red Hawks rallied to pick up a big early season win that they desperately needed. Last week they stepped back in region play and won as they were supposed to do over Montgomery Central.

 

Right now today I would say that Creek Wood has a great shot at being a playoff team. They will stand a great chance at winning in their games against Page, Cheatham, & Spring Hill. All of those teams are equal to Creek Wood and could beat the Red Hawks on a given night but right now CW is playing with a lot more confidence than any of those teams because they are winning games.

 

David Lipscomb will be a tough uphill battle for Creek Wood and to stand a chance at winning I believe the Red Hawks will have to play the perfect game and force a couple of DL turnovers. Giles is much improved and have been a serious thorn in Creek Wood's side for the last two years now. Creek Wood has to control the football and avoid falling behind big early on to win this one. This has been their reason for losing to GC the last two years.

 

I personally am glad to see Creek Wood doing so well. There were many who got on here and began to bash on Coach Chuck Daniel and his brand of coaching football following last season's second half struggles and this season's early struggles. He is a great coach and he's proving it right now by turning thing around for the better. I wish Coach Daniel and the Red Hawks the best this week at Rossview.

Not only is Coach Daniel a great coach but he is also a great guy!!!

creek wood has a pretty good team this year i think if they really want they will make the playoffs

 

 

If they continue to work they will be fine!!!! Stokes is still hurt from what I hear because he wont give his foot time to heal... I can understand that he wants to play, but I think he should sit out a while because he has next year... He will be dominant next year if he is healthy...

i think he had the potiential to be dominant this year if he was healthy.

Yea, but potential is just a word!!!! Im not doubting the kid one bit... Im just thinking he should give his injuries time to heal so he will be able to show something for all the potential he has... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.

      Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
