Who's got the best power game between the up and coming programs? Can the Chiefs contain the speed of the Yellow Jackets?

i'll say yall come out after a big first win last friday and beat the yellow/purple jackets....also they just come off a beat down by the tigers....i'll say yall will win by a 10...don't let me down...this is weird...i just picked seq to win two weeks in a row! good luck chiefs..hope yall can get it done. GO CHARGERS!!!!!

Hey Captain, just curious if you've had the chance to Grundy play this year?

Yes and their coaches will find a groove on offense this week. Sequoyah is improved but any chance that Grundy has of makin the playoffs is winnin out and that starts this week with Sequoyah. I think theyre a lot better than they showed against Meigs. Looked like their coach was kinda shellshocked.

Dude, does Central play everyone that we play right after we play them?

Grundy will come out on top in this one, it will be a blow out....they played Meigs tough...Im tired of hearing people say they didnt play good against Meigs, just give them credit and say Meigs is just getting way better.....Grundy will win this one 28-6

Grundy's running back is very good....reminds me of a smaller version of Mobriant.....

Good luck Grundy

Go Meigs

played meigs tough? not from what i heard, of course they guys that i know that was at the game could be lying...don't know why they would though. i have heard good things about grundys running back also, hear he is a stud with not a lot of playmakers around him....I am so sick of hearing about mobriant. is he ever going to graduate? seems like he has played for meigs for 8 years!

The Yellow Jackets win at home! The Chiefs do not play as well on the road. Young, inexperienced defense has loads of problems with the veer. Grundy gains 300 yds rushing, throws about 3 times and wins 28-14.

Well I cant argue with the Horse about the way we play on the road, but I will say we were coming off a bye week going to Central and from what I've seen nobody has played very well after a bye week. I thought our offense kept up with East Ridge we just had the turnovers at the end of the drives. Our defense have made alot of changes since Central and we gotten alot better. I say that there will ber 300 yards rushing but it will be done by the Chiefs in a high scoring affair.

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • We feel the pain!
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
