Scott Meadows didn't win one while he was there and they only have one in the "modern era" (1969-present). Kisabeth had some mooses playing for him when they did win and they had to beat Halls back when they were strong as well as Rhea Co. when they were really tough.Plus, I don't know how he would make that statement except to get the gig and sound good for the boosters. He's never been to a championship game as an assistant all those years and all those strong teams with G-P. Saying that about Jeff Co. nowadays is a stretch. A lot of apathy is percolating in Dumplin Valley these days especially after Marty Euverard got in there and really became a polarizing figure.Benny is old school. That's just how they've done things for years.

 

 

Scott Meadows was at Jeff. Co. about 15 minutes. Marty Euveraud is gone. Jeff Co. is starting to feel good about their latest coach. Yes Jeff won only one title , but played for several. Lee did not make that statement to boosters, but to some fellow coaches and friends. Maybe he feels he is a difference maker and can take a team there./wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Yeah I'll go with the Meadows being there for a cup of coffee...but not long enough for anyone to pay him much attention. Jeff County's biggest problem is getting players to come out and keeping studs from going elsewhere...

 

 

It has been a problem with kids playing out of county, especially Sevier Co. If Jeff can beat Sevier this Friday I think that will go along way in alleviating that issue. It would also guarantee Jeff of making the playoffs which would be a major accomplishment for their new coach. Steve Brewer at Sevier has been kind of like Fulmer. Won it all and then he has been poor to good since. Never really having another outstanding team. Several losing seasons including this one so far. Regards

Enough about the Jeff. Co Pats! Tomorrows news....? Really, who cares. How about them Eagles! With Grand Master Flash and that Inch High QB..with jets I might add! Aren't they ready for some football! Who's next? Oh yeah, G-double D as in Gibbs. I hope the D has an intense taste for the "other" Eagle. Rock on crew. Lookin' for the play-offs to hit soon, and it shouldn't matter where you start....everybody wants to know where your gonna finish. Man Up, dudes!       Are you kidding me?  You are just trolling now.  The new head coach's qualifications would be volunteer coach at the Oak Ridge Boys Club?  C'mon man, you can't be serious.  You're trolling us.  Anybody working at Clinton High School has to be like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs at this point.  They are coming after anybody and everybody that had knowledge of what was going on.  This is about to get real ugly.  Only in Clinton.

      JT I know you don’t want these people to find out but why you weren’t allowed to be apart of the program because that would be a shame. Unfortunately the commander and the refuter were not allowed to be around the program due to inappropriate relationships with female students at the school while they were members of the coaching staff. Which is what led to them trying to get Grabowski fired early on during his success at Basin. As a student from polk county who knew about these allegations I find it very hard to sit here and let these men talk about other people when no body knows the truth about them.

      I wouldn’t be shocked at all. Surely he has to be fire/made to resign. Maybe new OC will get another title here soon
