Carter at Gibbs

I don't know why this would be his last time against Carter, are there rumors flying around Corryton? I do think that this will be an interesting game. Gibbs has had trouble scoring this season, in their 4 losses they were outscored 132-10 in their 4 losses, but their kicking game keeps them in the games they win. The win against Claiborne was huge for the Eagles; it means that one more region win pushes them into the playoffs for the second straight year...something that hasn't been done since the three year playoff run from 95-97. Carter is on a 4 game winning streak and has seemed to found their groove on both offense and defense. The Hornets seem to be building strength for the playoffs after a weak start, but remember, it is only how you play at the end of the season that counts(as long as you make it into the playoffs /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />) I will save my pick for later in the week, but don't be suprised if the winds of an upset are in the air!

After last week's win over Claiborne, I believe Gibbs will be ready to play against Carter. However, I believe Carter is playing their best football of the season. The last three to four games, the running game has been hitting the holes, and Roach #83 has shown that he is extremely difficult to contain at reciever. I feel that Carter will win this one, but I don't look for it to be a blowout. IMO the game will be close up til the mid-third quarter and then I believe Carter will pull away. My prediction is Carter-35 Gibbs-17

Randy has told alot of people that he was retiring after this year.

It would be a great way to go out by beating Carter. Can this happen, only if the Hornets over look them

or turn over the ball to many times. Final score Carter 41 Gibbs 6 (two field goals).
