WHo do u think had the highest batting average this yr in the state, all i know of is one, this guy batted .505, if so who, i would like to know. Thanks

Walt Arms at Midway-----------------.638 in 94 AB

Brian Lovett at Knox Central--------.549 in 91 AB

Boodle Clark at Tennessee High------.538 in 91 AB

Brian Lovett finished the year at .520 in 100 AB's.

I got that info from the BlueChips Magazine that they handed out in a game that me and him played in today. It may be wrong, but that's still a pretty darn good BA.

i would like to know who keeps up with there ba's because ther is no way now i am from a little 1a school and we probably dont have the athletes that these schools have but that is a little hard to believe

These batting averages are by the BlueChip recruiting magazine. baseball209....why do you say there is no way? Have you ever seen any of these people hit? Don't say there is no way, unless you have seen them.

Monterey's # 3 or 4 hitter batter 539 this year, grant it, they are not a 3a school but that is still pretty good.

Soph. Woody Smith from Coal Hill Academy hit .673 this season with 6 HR, 33 RBI and 15 SB. They played 25 games. I saw this in the Morgan County News stat leaders from this season.

I am sorry. I don't know who is keeping score with averages like .638. It is like high schoolers running 4.3 40's. I have trouble believing it. If someone is batting a legitimate .638, they need to quit high school now and play professional baseball.
