Before critcizing coaches, I think it's important to note that some of these guys are working 16, 17, 18 hour days for almost no money and go far above and beyond their call of duty. How about doing something responsible like thanking these guys for busting their bums to make a successful team and stop threatening them every time they make a mistake. These games go on to 8,9, 10 P.M. and most coaches have been there since before 7 a.m. and have to return the next day at 7 a.m. They have families, friends, and lives just like these high and mighty parents and they sacrifice their time for these kids. How selfish to start dissing coaches and causing problems instead of trying to solve issues. Maybe consider these guys are working for almost no money (.50 an hour to be percise) and get no extra to stay to all hours of the night...childish actions I'd say

Any kid who shows up for two a days in August, never misses a practice and gives his (or her) best on the practice field and weight room contributes to the success of the team on Friday night whether they ever make it on the field during a game or not. Graham nor Ted Wilson nor Fred Walton before him has ever gave a heck about how much money a player's daddy has or how much clout they have with the school board or QB Club. Graham does a tremendous job of molding and motivating these boys to excel on the field and tries to prepare them to be a success in life. A public message board is not an appropriate place for this BS. The D-B coaching staff is an excellent group of men who are passionate about the game and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of Kingsport's youth.

Well said Big Lon. This thread is totally unproductive and does nothing but give the whole program a black eye, which is exactly what our rivals want to see. Any coach who is worth his salt is going to put in the players that he thinks give his team the best chance to win. And that means putting the 11 best athletes on the field. Sometimes that is a hard pill to swallow.
