You heard wrong. Practice is not cancelled. There is ALOT of kids that are not at school today and have went home though.

This is gonna be a good close game. What will decide this one will be the defenses. Polks D is well coached and they play smart and will hit you, But can thay handle centrals QB, He is thier differance maker and he is a good one. As for centrals "D" they have only played 2 teams with winning records and gave up almost 40 points in both those games. so can they handle a very solid polk offense? There may be some points scored in this one. Special teams edge goes to Polk. I say Polk Co. wins in a close one. Good luck to both teams.

Lets just say a kid made a threat to MC's quarterback last week. I heard that both boys were at the Meigs game and got into it again and MC's quarterback was escorted out by the police because of the threat the other boy made. Remember this is not first hand knowledge just hear say. I know this happened at my school and several kids didn't come to school or they called home. So I am just putting two and two together but like I said I may be completely wrong. I do not want to scare anyone I hope all is well at MC.

I am a huge Polk County fan, and have yet to see McMinn Central play except on the highlights that come on the eleven o'clock news but from what I hear and see on there Central is freakin awesome! I really don't know what to expect out of this game becuase of the fact that Central has never been a real threat to us...well at least not while I was playing.Hope that I didn't make anybody mad but its true. I am going to have to go with Polk to win this one. For Polk County players this is , with the exception of Meigs Co. , the biggest rivalry game that we have since Copper Basin chickened out on playing us, but I wont get started on that one. Coach Davis always gets his players extremely well prepared for this game, and with Polk having a pretty big winning streak against Central I know that he is not going to want to have it broken. I do think that this will be a close game though. Central really seems to have things going their way this season, and for that I say Congratulations. I just don't see them rolling into Wildcat Country and leaving with a win.

Just found out that the school is under lock down now. Seems that somebody threatened to come to school today and do some shooting. They've got cops all over the campus. What ever happened to your biggest worry at school being what mom and dad were gonna say when they see your grade card?

yeah i heard the school had cops everywhere but heard there was no lock down...i heard that it didn't have anything to do with central's qb...but as far as him getting kicked out of the meigs game that is not true cause i was at the game....sitting near him and the rest of the central boys....i heard there was a fight but it did not envolve him......this is just what i heard also...
