5A poll is severly flawed...WB shouldnt be in the top 5. DB and Franklin shouldnt be ranked. where is Wilson Central at? Bearden? Lavergne is probably the best 3 loss (by a combined 4 points) team in the state so one could make a case for them. throw Houston in there over some of these teams. not sure about Smyrna i would probably slide them in at #10 right now but how they play Riverdale (the real #1) this friday will tell their story.

 

 

William Blount should definitely be in the top 5. They lost by 1 point to Maryville (the #9 team in the NATION) and if they hadn't missed 3 extra points, they would have beaten them. Their other loss was to Farragut. They went for 2 at the end of game and got stopped on the 1 yard line. They lost that game by 1. If you are fortunate enough to make it deep in the playoffs, you might find out just how good WB is.
