BC....

Is there a scenario where Greenbrier still gets in with a loss against WH?

Yes but they'll need one of two things to happen if they lose to White House:

1.) Harpeth beats Sycamore

OR

2.) DeKalb Co. beats Macon Co.

This is so because if Greenbrier loses and Sycamore wins AND also Macon Co. wins then there would be a 3-WAY TIEBREAKER for the #4 seed in Region 4-3A. Since all three teams would have beaten one another through the course of the year then the overall edge would go to the team with the best overall record (this means best non-region record). In non-region games Macon Co. would be the first team out because they lost to Trousdale, Westmoreland, & Smith Co. Greenbrier ONLY LOST 1 NON-REGION GAME and that was to David Lipscomb in week one. Sycamore DID NOT LOSE A NON-REGION GAME!!! Therefore Sycamore would be in because of their overall record.

Hard to believe that for Greenbrier it has come down to a week one non-region loss to David Lipscomb as being the deciding factor.

Thanks. If GB needs any incentive, this should be it.

    • That wasn't you working that camera and nfhsnetwork scoreboard at Eagleville was it?   Nfhsnetwork had Oakdale as the home team and therefore the wrong scoring.
    • SP 2-1 vs Eagleville 2-0. McKenzie 2-1 vs Univ. School 2-0. Semifinals are set.  Uphill climb for us. Mt. Everest you might say. Go Pirates!!
    • We’ll see, rooting for y’all.
    • Told Willoughby is leaving. Fayetteville is on a downward spiral but there is no “y’all”. I’m just keeping it real.
    • I haven’t gassed anyone up that wasn’t already gassed up kinfolk. Marion has been named in paper and even their coach been on radio and twitter pumping them up last couple years.  22 many thought they had something for Tyner until they didn’t. These kinfolks on here can throw water on it all they want but expectations have been high the last few years. This year is no different. Got two kids in the boat and a couple more allegedly coming. Marion pushing all chips in for 2024. You boys fooling if you don’t think they are a major threat. New lineman has a lot of offers so the person saying he is just “big” doesn’t know football. I’m just keeping it real Tyner, East Ham, CCS, Bradley Central, Ooltewah, Red Bank, Marion, South Pitt. If there is a good team in Chatt I am a fan. Im just keeping it real
