Marshall County leaves Jackson with a win over a very good Southside team.

 

Marshall County with a 14-0 lead at halftime gave up 14 points in the 3rd quarter.

 

Marshall County came back in the 4th with a 13 play 85 yard scoring drive to take the lead and come home victorious. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

 

 

 

 

Great game guys -- Lets get some food, go back to God's country and get ready for a rematch of week 9.

Congrats to Marshall Co. on the win. The Tigers became the 6th Region 5-3A team to win the playoff game over the last three years since this current region has been in existance. THAT IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER REGION OUT THERE!!!!!! I HAVE LOOKED IT UP /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Thats true i was at the game last night and ive never seen JSS so respectful hats off to hte JSS team

 

 

and i think everyone noticed that early when Don'ta got hurt and the JSS players on the field started yellin things like come on 2 and get up big guy BEFORE his own players started yellin it, so yes they were an extremely respectful and classy team...good luck to you guys next year

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
