so after we win this year, the trend shows that we will not win until 2011?

i cant speak on the possible matchups semi finals and finals, dont know those teams, havent seen them play, none of that...

 

however, out of the team we play this friday (wilson central), and who riverdale will play if they advance (smyrna or lincoln county), i can honestly say riverdale is the best out of these teams. they have beaten all 3 of them this year.

 

i'll put it like this, riverdale would have to give them the rope if they wanna hang us with it. our A game is better than smyrnas, lincoln countys, and wilson centrals...it would take the warriors showing a lack of intensity and carelessness (with the ball) for an upset to occur.

 

of course that is fully capible of happening, that is not whats expected out of these seniors...its their 4th year in high school, they've had 3 losses in that time, but only one of those teams has actually BEAT us, oak ridge in 2005. riverdale got outplayed all night, and cant say we had alot of missed oppurtunities cause there almost were no opportunities offensively...couldnt mount a drive for nothing that night.

We travel east this year. 'If' Smyrna loses to LC we get to go to the "Pit" if we bring our A game to the WC one this Friday. Otherwise if Smyrna wins then we get them at OUR house again. As to who we would play then it is anybodies guess right now.

 

I do not care who we play as long as we keep WINNING! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

 

Actually if we win it all this year the three year cycle would put it about 2010.

yeah we've already started it...shadowens is a good coach..correction..great coach...and he's taken the team far and is gonna take them farther

 

great coaches win games they're supposed to (lebanon), and atleast occasionally are supposed to pull an upset against a better team (brentwood academy, riverdale)

Shadowins winning the Championship kind of reminds me of Oakland winning the Championship in 99 with Euvarad (SP?). They (Coaches) got a hold of some good talent, and won some important games, but will not be able to continue it...

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
