Just a shout out to Chase Horton, #40 for Camden, on his nomination for Mr. Football.

I think his nomination says a lot about our defensive front seven. You can't have a great MLB without a great defensive line and outside backers to back him up.

Chase, you deserve this. You're a good player and a great person. We are alll very proud of you. You are a real winner and leader.

Little known fact about Mr. Horton- he has fought through adversity like most players will never know. He's been battling since Jr. High, but he continues to elevate his level of play each and every time he steps on the field. I'll not go into any further detail, as it is not my business to say. That's up to himself and his family alone. It would suffice to say this- there was a time when we didn't know if Chase would be able to play football anymore.

CONGRATS AND GOOOOOOOOOOOO LIONS!!!!!!!

Congrats on a great season Big Boy!!! You were a beast when we played you and it would be great to see you line up in the semi's against Milan for the right to go to the Boro'. You are the blueprint for a FB/LB combo!!! I have a younger son who plays both and would love to see him play with your desire and heart - not to mention ability!!! Congrats on a great achivement and good luck in the future!!!

Congrats from Huntingdon. I have a son who plays and is the same age and I have seen moose play since the 7th grade. I know a little about what rcombs is talking about. My son was at the Memphis combine when Moose was there.

Moose is a great example of hard work and character. Hope you get it and good luck in the future. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

He never takes off a play...hits as hard as anyone playing the game, leaves it all out on the field every game and never lets anything effect his drive and determination. No matter the adversity this young man has come up against, he has always fought the fight and come out on top. Congrats Moose....you da man /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Chase is an awesome player to watch. Rcombs is right. I think everyone who has ever been around Chase knows how much he cares about this sport, and they should know how great of a young man he is also. For him to go what he went through he has done more than anyone could have asked for. Chase is such adds a huge amount of leadership to this team, and I hope our younger players are able to take his example and continue the tradition. Chase is not the kind to take full credit for his accomplishments, and is very appreciative of his supporting cast. It is truly an honor to know and to have played alongside Chase as a teammate. I wish him the best in all he may achieve in life, and to continue working. Great Job Chase "MOOSE" Horton you make us all proud of you and the team.
