I love HS footbal- where did you find those rankings? And thank you for including Stone Memorial in the upper Cumberland region... for whatever reason Cumberland County teams are often left out of being part of *any* specific region ( although Upper CUmberland is definitely where they belong...)

Shouldn't Stone Memorial be classified as AAA or maybe even AAAA with the enrollment they have??

I think a lot of schools would like to be in AAAA for basketball. That should be an easy division to win, since I don't think there is one!!!

The rankings are in some of the headlines on the CoachT homepage.

 

The reason I included Stone is because they are apart of the Upper Cumberland. They are one of the 14 counties that make up the Upper Cumberland.

Your right. It is complete dominance. And it has been, for as long as I can remember watching.

 

Take right now for example. We are almost half way through the season and in A and AA, there are 5 schools ranked in the top 10 in the state.

And here we are again at tourney time, I'll make a safe prediction that at least one Upper Cumberland team brings home at least a silver ball...........more like maybe 2 for 2 for the gold ball in A and AA ball.

Going to be a very interesting week in AA we have a three way tie for 1st between LA, Upperman, and Cannon Co. I could see several teams from the Upper Cumberland going to the state tournement this year. Looks like Jackson Co is playing real well along with the ' Range girls and several of the other A teams are playing there best now. We have a very proud tradition here that goes back a long time. Lets keep it up!
