FOOTBALLorFUTBOL
the Friendship Christian Commander bowling team is now seeded #6 in the district playoffs. They were ranked last and lookin' to end up how all first-year teams end up, last place. None of the players have ever bowled in their careers. There are 5 seniors and 4 of them are in the starting rotation. In fact, tonight they tied 9-9 in head-to-head games with #3 Antioch. They loss by around 100 pins. That's an average of around 4 pins per game! This team can play and I wish the best to all of the students who have gotten the bowling team created. Good luck in the playoffs and next year to the underclassmen. FCS's District Standings at end of season (unoffical): 1. Mt. Juliet 2. Wilson Central 3. Antioch 4. DCA 5. Lebanon 6. FCS 7. Ezell Harding 8. Glencliff Day 1 Playoff Matchup: Mt. Juliet- bye Wilson Central- bye Antioch-Glencliff DCA-Ezell Harding Lebanon-FCS
catsbackr
It is truly wonderful to see schools starting up bowling programs. People have no idea that the sport contains so much excitement and competition. I have described bowling matches, especially district, region and state tournaments, to others as being similar to a wrestling match in a small room. Congrats on your inaugural season success!
