hey, those kids were working hard, no doubt. Working well, maybe not. But working hard anyways!!

The popcorn is prob due to the new concession stand manager....he works very hard but will never ever be like last year's concession stand manager....DC's c stand is in neeed of some serious help....God bless them lol

I cna say one thing about the new manager, he did something the old one couldn't do. He got the new fire truck posted just outside the gym during the game. That was something the old one could have never done............. or maybe it was there on an occassion or two. Well, anyway, at least the smoke was not as thick with the old one.

Don't get confused and mix them together!

Consession stand competition is serious. Like the Smith Co. vs Upperman burger war. Jackson Co. has the best hot dogs.

The latest fad on popcorn I've run across lately was friday night when I went for a bag and was asked the question, "Do you want a big bag or a small one". Not knowing what to answer I said " I've got a big one at home". Some lady threw a hot dog at me from inside the concession stand and not knowing how to take that I left.

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold.       My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
