I was just curious where pthguard12 has gone? The weekly single a poll is no longer.

 

 

Based on a thread several weeks ago, I think "he" might be a she.

 

I, along with many of my friends have tried to put an actual name with ptguard12, but have been unable to pin it down. It would seem that she/he is from southwestern middle and maybe the east side of western TN and maybe more A and AA than AAA, but wherever she/he calls home, they seem to be very knowledgeable about highschool girls basketball statewide as well as summer travel ball.

The whole purpose of the poll was to stimulate interest in Class A girls basketball and generate discussion about these various teams and players from all over the state. However, interest in the poll has dwindled since Christmas and the topics were generating little discussion, so I decided to cease writing them for this season. I may do a poll on the final eight teams at Murfreesboro once they are decided. I will, more than likely, resume the poll next season but it will be a bi-weekly poll, so as to not burn out everyone (including myself) with having a weekly poll.

hey ptguard, you might get your chance to see Butler once again as a Sophomore now! If we beat BTW Saturday night we'll be in the 'boro next week! Butler is extremely hot right now and taking over when needed! She dropped 31 in a District Consolation game against powerhouse Obion Co. Central. She dropped 16 against Fayette Ware in a blow out in first round of Regions. She had 20 against Martin Westview in the second round. She dropped 30 tonight against Chantel Poston and Shameika Gray (the 2 most athletic players in this side of the state)! She might be taking GC into the 'boro on her back! Hope you get to see her play next week, she's MUCH IMPROVED from last year!!!!!!!!
