Middleton @ "Undefeated" Union City, Comment

Manasses and Middelton both play in weak districts...no doubt about it..Did I ever say they were in a strong district...NO!!!! I callange you to find where I ever said that....It's not going to happen .But manassas played many many AA and AAA teams in Memphis..Look it up

I also stated on another post earlier to someone on here that DC's district wasn't that good either...Look it up....DC went out of district and scheduled Liberty, Bolivar, and McNairy among other teams....Look it up.. The 1 thing that makes Buckner special. Manassas dont have to run a play for him or force him the ball for him to have an impact on a game. MJ and others do it only by scoring points mostly wide open shots from the games I have seen. How can your defense not locate this player on the floor. If I was at a UC game and didnt no who MJ Brown was I would not mistake him to be a Mr. Basketball winner. I would only see an above average ball handler with a great 3 point shot. On the other hand Buckner would stand out on a ALL STAR team. Buckner dominates the game on defense and offense. Monday night he had better stats than he had all season. In rebounds he went over his average 5.5. Scoring he went over 8 points. Blocks 1.5 over. Think about it 8pts 5rbds 1.5blocks would be good game stats alone. Thats what Buckner added to his total. Manassas never ran a play for him they just killed the Humboldt trap defense. Whatever Humboldt gave them thats what they beat them with. Buckner is the best player in 1A but everything starts with this entire team playing as 1. Manassas has 4 players who could average 20 points a game if needed. They play as 1 thats what makes them special.

You jumped on me about not seeing teams in person...OK...Now you have said Mitchell was the best team Union City played this season....That means you have seen Mills University Studies,Raytown South and Harrison,Ga.,right??...You would've had to to give an educated opinion...Right??....Shane Sisco said that in his years at Union City that Raytown South was the fastest with size,most athletic,best team his teams have faced...He has seen everybody Union City has played for the last seven or so years...LOL...Seems to me you are relying on print media,T.V. or what others have told you,like I do on occasion because there is no way to go see every team in this area,especially if you have a kid playing and also follow one team all year....Like,I said in an earlier post when my son does graduate,I would love to go around and watch other teams play,it would be a great hobby to have...

 

I have seen Mitchell play about six times over the last three years,not many granted,but what I have seen from them is a hugely talented team that underachieves and is only moderately coached...I watched them the first year they lost to Liberty in the state tournament with all the talent they had they still couldn't beat a huge underdog....They play the same way every time I see them and although with all that talent and I know they were missing two players when they played Union City they still didn't beat Union City this year and to be quite honest,they should have had enough talent left to beat Union City this year...
