Millington routs Melrose

Anybody know the story on the Millington-Melrose game? I've heard of 8-1 and 10-1 blowouts and stuff like that, but this is unreal. Either Melrose is completely terrible, or they played a different Millington than the one Rosemark scrimmaged earlier this year. They were good (They beat us like 6-1 or something) but freakin 16-1?

Not unusual for a good team to beat a poor team by that score. That is pretty sad though, I remember we beat Gibson County by I believe 17-0 one time. There should be no reason for the scoreline to be that big though, after 5 or 6 the reserves should be playing just out of common courtesy.

during my sophomore year catholic beat scott county 14-0 and we tried everything to keep the score down. we had to have something like 10 passes and then score off a volley. we couldnt miss the goal that game. we even had our backline up top and still were able to score. the thing is that sometimes you try to hold back but even so you can be able to @@@@ up a fair amount of goals

I can understand what your saying..........but unless this was a district game then I blame both coaches. There is no reason for these 2 teams to be playing each other.
